"Tunnel vision sucks."
For both parties, meaning the person that has tunnel vision and the people that have to be around them. When I made these paper tunnels and attached them to my eyes late last night, the smallest things were
difficult to accomplish. I completely lost my depth perception. Walking down stairs in the dark requires complete intuition, as same goes for looking at someone else when their talking. I literally had to focus my gaze onto that person in order to see them. Opposed to having my natural perspective I might have been caught staring off to the side, catching the person talking, just in my peripheral. Never completely focusing my gaze upon them.
Give it a try yourself some afternoon when your sitting around. Try and change your perspective a little. Or better yet loose some of it and see how the world becomes much a different place. Possibly frightening, introspective, or even enlightening. If you feel like you have a.d.d. at all this this test could be comforting.
Being that it forces you to focus on small bit of information, eliminating outside distractions and visual chaos.
